On Friday April 19 @ 6:30 pm, you are invited to participate in Good Friday Worship at United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon.
Our worship will be a series of readings, known as a Tenebrae, that help to tell the story of Jesus’ crucifixion upon the cross as we remember his death so many years ago. We gather to show our love for the savior and to remember his sacrifice for our souls.
This service also reminds us that joy is just around the corner at Easter and why hope lives on, for in dying Jesus gave his life for ours. On Easter we will celebrate his resurrection from death.
