Christian Education Director
The United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon has an opening for a Christian Education Director, 15 hours/week. They will need to work well with other adults and children, as they inspire and raise up volunteers for ministry. This person will choose Sunday School Curriculum, inspire and raise up teachers and shepherds. Working with volunteers to organize and Implement Sunday School Classes, the Christmas Pageant and Vacation Bible School are key duties. Administrative Assistant Position
The United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon has an opening for a church Administrative Assistant. Position will have scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week working with office administration and membership. Responsibilities include administrative support for our pastor, church staff and various church committees including answering phones, greeting visitors and various computer work. Requirements include past administrative and computer experience and strong communication skills.
