In the last half of the first century, Rome was the greatest city in the greatest empire in the world. The apostle Paul was writing to the new Christian church in Rome to be sure that they knew the proper Christian doctrine. As we study every verse of this wonderful book, we will obtain a clear understanding of God’s grace, his guaranteed and special messages for us, and his directions for Christian living. There are spectacular and special messages for us here; and we will get to see how these messages affected our religious fathers — Martin Luther and John Wesley! We will, of course, take time to study Christmas and Easter.  I am truly excited just typing these words. Each lesson will stand on its own, so please come every Sunday or as often as your life allows.  We will begin class on 9/13 at 9:45 AM in the small room east of the Common Ground & just off the small kitchen.
